Grown UpsAn old friend from school, Nancy, had invited me out for coffee. I eagerly agreed to meet her because I didn’t get to see her as often as I would like. We were arguing about body suspension- an act where people put large hooks in the back and use them to hang from the ceiling. I thought it was fascinating; she thought it was disgusting. “What’s gross about it? It’s just like getting a really big, temporary piercing,” I argued. “A piercing that you hang from the ceiling with!” she scoffed. “It wouldn’t be very interesting if they just put hooks in your back for nothing.”Grown Ups
